About Me
My path here has been anything but straight. As a Biology major on a pre-med track, I was convinced I'd end up studying neurology, until I finished all the pre-med courses and realized medicine wasn't for me. Classic.
What followed was a chaotic stretch as winemaker, clinical research coordinator, and lift operator at Mammoth Lakes. That last one turned out to be more impactful than expected. Spending a season reconnecting with nature, right as the Inflation Reduction Act was reshaping what felt possible in climate policy, sparked a conviction that large-scale industrial policy was the answer to the climate crisis.
The winding road eventually dropped me at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, where I'm focused on expanding renewable energy investment through a policy lens. Turns out a biology degree, a wine maker, and a chairlift have more in common with energy policy than you'd think.
When I'm not doing that, I'm playing soccer, snowboarding, rock climbing, or getting humbled by waves while I learn to surf.
